Manager, Technology Delivery (Strategy and Performance)

The Technology Delivery team exists to unlock the potential of our teams to create exceptional outcomes with our technology. We do this by working with teams and leaders across Technology and enabling great planning, continually improving our ways of working and uplifting our delivery outcomes. The role provides the opportunity to work across the range of outcomes our team drives.

You will get exposure to a breadth of stakeholders including teams who are creating amazing outcomes across the Bank and senior leaders within Technology. Our team actively looks for internal and external insights to challenge our thinking, and put the learnings into practice. In this role you will contribute to the translation of strategy in action across Technology, which has an impact at scale across the Bank and enables great outcomes for our customers.

In Your Role

As a Manager, Technology Delivery (Strategy and Performance), you will

  • Play an active role in the quarterly planning cycles across Technology, including preparing quarterly inputs and support intra-quarter delivery activities.
  • Work with stakeholders to create impactful insights on the progress of work being done across Technology.
  • Frame and document improvement opportunities across Technology, and take the lead on these initiatives to enable the outcomes.
  • Engage across our team to create impactful events to engage stakeholders across Technology.
  • Proactively and regularly seek internal and external ideas to challenge our thinking and drive better outcomes. Drive the sharing of good practices and learnings across Technology.

We are interested in hearing from people who have

  • Demonstratable experience working with teams in a consultative way to identify, frame and clearly document opportunities.
  • Experience in large-scale environments with planning, delivery and dependencies to drive strategic outcomes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence.
  • Strong ability to present insights clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Understanding of technology and banking and how it relates to customer outcomes.
  • An agile mindset in a changing environment with a desire for continued learning.
