We are seeking a Senior Project Manager  for our First Quality Home Care Products, LLC working remotely.  This position will lead complex projects for the Home Care Products business from end to end, and will be responsible for managing project ideation, timelines, and resources while fostering collaboration and ensuring strategic business objectives are met. This role ensures that all project activities are aligned to strategic objectives and are correctly prioritized, resourced and scheduled. In addition, this role ensures that projects are progressing in a coordinated manner and ultimately deliver the business value that justified the project execution. Ultimately, success in this role will lead to timely and effective decision making by providing visibility into all project activity and workstream ownership

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Own and lead the project management life-cycle from initial charter development and approvals through post-launch reviews, ensuring seamless delivery against objectives and that synergy is achieved throughout the project life-cycle.
  • Lead cross-functional teams ensuring alignment on project scope, identify critical success factors, allocate resources effectively, and create detailed, actionable timelines.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to anticipate potential obstacles, proactively resolving issues and ensuring project resilience.
  • Facilitate the identification and escalation of issues and risks to relevant stakeholders and senior leadership while minimizing disruption to the project.
  • Act as the gatekeeper of the stage gate process leveraging data to ensure decisions are reached via analysis of robust data and documentation. 
  • Manage intake of new projects and work requests, categorizing and prioritizing the portfolio of projects and/or requests
  • Facilitate Business Case reviews and approvals between the project requester and senior leadership
  • Continuously provide visibility into the status of all projects by developing and delivering dashboards that provide timely information into project status
  • Ensure every project is analyzed to understand all the needed functions/disciplines that are required for successful execution of the project. Ensure that for each function/discipline the right leader is identified and engaged and that such leader acknowledges the project

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 7 years of executive program/project management that require multiple functions and multiple disciplines concurrently
  • Experience working in a consumer products manufacturing environment highly preferred
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification highly preferred. Change Management professional certification a plus
  • Financial knowledge to ensure change efforts are aligned with the financial perspective of a project
  • Extensive experience utilizing Microsoft Project and other project management tools
  • Strong communication (written & oral), organizational and analytical skills to collect, organize and communicate extensive amounts of data into clear and concise executive level dashboards
  • Excellent executive influencing skills to productively work with leaders at a variety of levels; highly skilled at summarizing large volumes of information and data into relevant and actionable plans
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and achieving results despite facing changes in course
  • Excellent technical and presentation skills – MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Superb follow-up skills with the ability to keep processes moving and holding colleagues accountable for their role in a project or initiative

Travel will be required to First Quality facilities for key meetings and project milestones.  Travel can range from 15-25%
