About The Role & Program
The Events Intern supports the planning and execution of events of various sizes and complexity! We are based at the Disneyland® Resort, but the internship may involve working on projects supporting other DX Communications Events businesses. As an intern, you will need to think strategically, possess project management skills, and be able to prioritize. You will be responsible for being a collaborative partner who plans, develops, and produces sophisticated and high-profile physical and virtual events in support of the Disneyland Resort and the Disney Experiences segment. Your success will lie in the ability to demonstrate critical thinking and project management capabilities. Through close collaboration with our internal and external partners, you will be a group collaborator who develops events to drive outstanding results in alignment with business goals, objectives, and strategies!
The intern will report to the Manager, Events
This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Anaheim, California area from January 2026 through June 2026
What You Will Do
- Be a collective participant in the conceptualization of events, programs, and business-driving projects
- Collaborate with both internal and external partners to help develop and implement a varied level of events
- Provide on-the-ground support throughout the event development process, including event execution
- Establish collaborations across the company that represent a vast array of teams
- Make valuable contributions to the success of the team by assisting in developing, updating, and prioritizing key project/event planning documents such as agendas, achievements, itineraries, tracking grids, presentations, and more

- Possess excellent written and verbal communication proficiency
- Proficient with technology and willing to work with multiple forms of communication (i.e., Microsoft Teams)
- Flexible, as schedules could occasionally include nights or weekends
- Ability to meet physical demands for extended periods
It Would Also Be Great If You
- Have a passion for the Disney brand and culture
- Possess knowledge and experience working within the events space
- Demonstrate curiosity about the current media landscape and how it drives reputation and business results
- Exhibit a desire to participate in creative storytelling through event design and guest experience
Education
- Junior or Senior year preferred
- Pursuing a degree in Events, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or a related major
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all the requirements below
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university, pursuing a degree, taking at least one class at the time of application, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
- Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney Internship or Disney College Program
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess unrestricted work authorization
Additional Information
- The approximate dates of this internship are January 2026 through June 2026
- Fully available from Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 6 PM Pacific Time Zone, including some nights/weekends, for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
- Be aligned with The Disney Look appearance guidelines
- Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Anaheim, California area
- Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
