About The Role
The primary role of the Contract Manager is to provide services in connection with the implementation of contractual and commercial relations with DXC's customers in the respective regions, depending on the needs. The focus of the position is commercial and contractual analysis and consulting across all DXC client industries (manufacturing, retail, public sector, healthcare, auto and bancassurance, etc.).
Daily Challenges
- Providing advice on a wide range of contract types, including drafting and reviewing change control notices, amendments, supplemental agreements, legal research and contract interpretation. Provision of administrative documents, such as sending notifications, letters, claims, etc.
- Management of multi-year contracts and commercial projects in order to develop and improve.
- Follow-up of the main obligations under the contract, including clauses related to the relevant margin, as well as proactively developing plans to increase revenue from the services provided under the contracts.
- Provision of permanent expert advice to the teams regarding the legal and commercial consequences of the specific terms of the contracts/projects.
- Monitoring the execution of contracts, applying the organizational principles of integrity and in accordance with the applicable standards.
- Engaging relevant contract stakeholders, conducting negotiations according to relevant legal and regulatory requirements, contract standards and pricing.
- Monitoring of contract deadlines and continuous communication with business partners and internal customers regarding contract clauses.
eXperience and skills required
- Bachelor's degree in law from a country in the European Union.
- 3-5 years’ experience in Contract management or similar in corporate environment.
- Fluent in written and verbal German and English (business level required).
Teamwork Skills.
- Adaptive and organized, with attention to details.
- Ability to prioritize when working with many and different tasks.
- Good written and oral communication skills and orientation towards good service.
