Job Profile Summary: This position provides technical and analytical leadership in support of HR master data, compensation, and benefits processes, while serving as a key contributor to cross-functional projects such as reorganizations, mergers, acquisitions, and organizational management initiatives. The role partners closely with technology teams, HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), and business stakeholders to align systems and processes with enterprise objectives that drive measurable business impact.
A central focus of this role is on process optimization, centralized support delivery, and enhancing data quality through advanced tools, automation, AI and digital solutions. The position supports the execution of mass data loads in Workday and SAP, leads benchmarking and continuous improvement efforts, and plays a vital role in advancing the future-state People Operations delivery model.
In addition to managing high-level HR system responsibilities, the role provides expert guidance in executing compensation programs, wage proposals, benefits support, and regulatory compliance monitoring—all while ensuring alignment with performance metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and service level agreements (SLAs).
Key Responsibilities:
Technical & Operational Support
- Create, maintain, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of core HR data, including team member master data, compensation plans, organizational structure, and position management.
- Execute and validate testing procedures to support configuration changes and ongoing system enhancements.
- Provide system and process support within defined SLAs to meet departmental KPIs and customer service standards.
- Lead or support total rewards initiatives, including compensation cycles, wage proposals, market competitiveness analysis, and annual enrollment activities.
- Provide global, centralized support for HR systems, including professional compensation review processes, organizational and position management, mass data loads, complex master data and compensation audits, reorganization guidance and support, merger, acquisition, and divestiture activities, location updates, and executive-level ("white glove") service. Leverage expert knowledge of payroll, benefits, and system integration impacts to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and cross-functional process alignment.
- Partner with COEs and compliance teams to ensure compensation and benefits programs aligning with business needs and regulatory requirements.
- Support the administration of compensation policies and programs, including survey submissions and analysis of market trends and internal pay practices.
Project & Process Leadership
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME), technical resource, or lead analyst for large-scale projects involving reorganizations, merger, acquisition and divestitures, location support, and enterprise system changes.
- Define user requirements and technical specifications; execute mass data loads via Workday EIB and SAP LSMW.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across People Operations and IT to ensure system integration, payroll alignment, and benefits accuracy.
Continuous Improvement & Strategic Enablement
- Leverage AI, digitalization, and benchmarking tools to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and enterprise outcomes.
- Identify and drive process improvement opportunities, focusing on automation, simplification, and cross-functional alignment.
- Maintain knowledge of industry’s best practices, emerging technologies, and system capabilities to inform strategic decision-making and influence the HR service delivery model.
- Support and drive enterprise-wide People Operations aimed at delivering consistent, scalable, and high-quality HR services.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.
Computer Skills: Advanced computer skills related to HCM systems. Must be highly competent in the use of Excel. Workday process knowledge, Workday (EIB), and SAP (LSMW) mass load experience highly valued.
Communication Skills: This position will interact with and is expected to communicate results/recommendations and secure buy-in across a broad range of users, stakeholders, and management. Must have the ability to translate complex technical themes into business-facing language. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
Special Skills:
- General working knowledge of key HR and Compensation support practices and procedures, including team member transactional activities, org management master data, position management, end-to-end Workforce Administration, and ServiceNow systems.
- Experience with process documentation, identifying improvement opportunities, and specific measurements to track performance post-implementation.
- Proven ability to manage projects within People Operations using the defined Tyson methodology.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and develop new processes.
- Must be detail-oriented and work well in a team environment.
- Perseveres to locate necessary data and identify creative solutions to enable project completion.
- Consistently delivers high-quality, timely work resulting in highly satisfied customers.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage competing priorities and deliverables in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
