As a Staff Attorney on the Legal team, a typical day for you will include:

• Performing a wide range of legal support for Neighborly brands, departments, and corporate locations.
• Gaining hands-on legal experience in areas including franchise law, intellectual property, contracts, employment law, and litigation.
• Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, NDAs, and service agreements.
• Supporting corporate governance activities, monitoring changes in relevant laws, and performing legal research and writing.

• Open to new graduates. This position is designed for a recent law school graduate looking to gain experience and grow with the company.
• Strong analytical skills with a proactive and creative approach to problem-solving.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High computer literacy, including strong experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• A sense of humor.
• Education: A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school is required.
• Hybrid working model, currently: Monday-Wednesday in the office, Thursday/Friday from home.
• Your office will be located at 1010 N University Parks Drive, Waco, TX
