Accountable for a significant portion of advertising sales revenues of the company. Drives change transformation and strategy execution to achieve specific business results. Creates business strategy to focus on strengths, competitive advantage and differentiation. Incorporates broad knowledge to address complex, unusual and critical issues. The Vice President of Large Agency Advertising Sales will lead the strategic direction and execution of national and local advertising initiatives, with a strong emphasis on managing and optimizing Ampersand, Agency Holdco and client direct relationships. This executive will be responsible for driving revenue growth, enhancing brand visibility, and ensuring alignment with overall business goals across multiple platforms and markets.
Core Responsibilities:
- Directs other executives accountable for achieving significant sales targets in major regions or channels.
- Collaborates with top Advertising Sales Executives in setting prices and developing packages and programs for commercial advertising time and space.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with marketing, product, and finance teams to ensure integrated campaign execution.
- Negotiates complex deals at top management level that affect major aspects of Comcast Advertising portfolio of sales opportunities; pursues and closes difficult and strategic accounts.
- Develops and enforces strategies to maximize revenue generated within the ad sales community. Sets, approves and adjusts major policies and operating procedures that affect areas of the advertising sales function.
- Partners with Sales Development leadership on Comcast Advertising go to market strategies, portfolio solution selling (ie: advanced ad solutions, new business, high value programming).
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including emerging platforms and verticals.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy.
- Establishes and ensures the execution of short and long-term advertising revenue goals.
- Represents the Company in ad sales business community and manage relationships with various constituents both internal and externally.
- Build and maintain strong relationship with Ampersand, holding them accountable to hitting revenue goals by developing go to market strategies to drive revenue.
- Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams and Ampersand to establish and ensure seamless communication and workflow process for execution across cross functional teams.
- Establishes budgets and monitors rate structure.
- Oversees advertising availability inventory and approves of all advertising sales reports.
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team across geographies.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
- Motivates, develops and coaches director and management level.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

Primary Location Pay Range: $282,709.23 - $424,063.85Targeted Commission: $220,000.00Our sales compensation programs offer the potential for significant upside above targeted earnings for those who overachieve their sales targets.Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
