The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required
• 1-3 years of experience in LTL, distribution/logistics, transportation or operations management
• Proven track record of managing resources and efficiencies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of computer systems and handheld scanning technology
• Experience working with Microsoft Excel is required
• Desire to succeed and possess a winners mindset
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time and work a flexible schedule

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Communicate company objectives across all levels of the geographic region
• Maintaining a list of the region’s operational, safety, employee relations and freight dimension audits
• Communicating with regional terminals to ensure requirements are being met
• Ensure Central Transport’s operational model compliance
• Maintaining reports on activity and overview of region
• Provide expert guidance/training to terminal management staff on audit compliance in all areas
