Job Description:
Position Summary
The Facilities Tech Lead (HVAC focus) Provides leadership, direct and indirect supervision of maintenance crews while performing daily work activities of maintaining contracted assets. Senior member of the crew and as well as delivering critical maintenance tasks will be expected to lead the other members and drive performance and contractual compliance. This individual will be responsible for maintaining (with an HVAC focus) contracted facilities assets per standards in the contract and as directed by supervisor.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• Daily supervision of facilities technicians, laborers, specialists and subcontractors working in assigned area.
• Ensures that preventative maintenance is being performed on schedule and service calls are responded to and
completed within the allotted time.
• Coordinate system repairs and monitor system performance
• Maintain accurate and adequate parts and materials inventory and order items as necessary
• Execute equipment audits and record-taking policies
• Coordinates with the Project Manager on the implementation of facilities maintenance programs and any new
projects
• Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols
• Effective key point of contact between the Company and NTTA.
• Able to respond on-site within one (1) hour of being notified, twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week,
365 days per year, including holidays
• Responsible for a robust rotation maintenance schedule for the electrical and HVAC preventive maintenance, painting, plumbing, and routine lighting replacement
• Responsibility to ensure that any crew performing work at any NTTA facility understands the scope of their duties
and area of responsibility so that all assigned maintenance is completed on time.
• Performs daily, weekly, and monthly reporting required by the Project Manager and this contract.
• Monitors operation, conducts operational analysis, and prepares performance information and
recommendations for incorporation into the periodic reports to management.
• Serves as technical advisor to work crews.
• Inspects in-process and completed work to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Responsible for proper work reporting, timesheets, budgeting, and other systems. Prepares reports and
correspondence as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
Quality System Responsibilities:
• Assists the Project Team in the development of work plan procedures.
• Provides coordination of technical guidance on regulatory and code compliance to QC/Inspection personnel
based in incumbent’s area of expertise
• Reviews and approves Material Requisitions (MR) and Purchase Orders (PO) for materials and equipment,
when applicable
• Reviews Subcontractor’s inspection program and inspection reports, as applicable
