Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Communication: Act as the primary conduit for information exchange between Team Beskar and external entities, ensuring clear, concise, and effective communication
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Establish and nurture mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders, partners, and other teams to support collaborative initiatives
  • Coordinate Collaborative Efforts: Secure stakeholder buy-in, define parameters for partnerships, and implement strategies to maximize the benefits of collaborative projects
  • Resolve Issues: Identify and address communication challenges or conflicts, providing timely solutions to maintain operational efficiency and positive relationships
  • Represent Team Beskar: Serve as a professional representative of Team Beskar at meetings, events, and conferences, upholding the team’s values and objectives
  • Monitor Strategic Objectives: Maintain a thorough understanding of Team Beskar’s goals, processes, and industry context to align collaborative efforts with the team’s mission
  • Report and Document: Prepare reports, correspondence, and presentations to communicate project updates, progress, and areas for improvement to stakeholders and team leadership
  • Support Team Operations: Collaborate with internal team members to ensure smooth coordination of tasks, resources, and project milestones
  • Event planning: Support the customer engagement events through meeting planning, task tracking and engagement

Work Environment:

  • Location: Remote (Must Reside In The Colorado Springs Area)
  • Travel Requirements: Minimal
  • Working Hours: Standard

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Must Reside in the Colorado Springs Area
  • Security Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. government security clearance, which is something only a U.S. citizen can obtain
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business Administration, Public Relations, or a related field.  Three plus years of previous experience in this field is approved in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a liaison, public relations, or coordination role, preferably in a corporate, creative, or high-performance team setting.
  • Event Coordination - Skills:
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in conflict resolution and problem-solving
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment, with a focus on innovation and delivering mission-critical results
  • Familiarity with project management principles and tools (e.g., MS Office Suite, project management software)
  • Event Coordination: Experience in planning, organizing, and executing events, such as team meetings, conferences, or stakeholder engagements, ensuring seamless logistics and positive outcomes
  • Space Domain Awareness: Knowledge of space situational awareness, including tracking and monitoring space objects, understanding orbital mechanics, or familiarity with space operations and policies
  • Experience working with Google Suite and Microsoft Office suite of applications
  • Expert in Google Slides, Microsoft Power Point
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams and Zoom platforms

Desired:

  • Secret clearance
  • Experience with Miro Boards
  • Working knowledge of Figma
  • Experience working with or supporting U.S. military branches, ideally in the space or defense sectors
  • Strong familiarity with satellite communications, space technology, or aerospace operations
  • Master’s degree or advanced certification in Product Management or related fields

Basic Compensations: $118,800 - $167,700 (For The Colorado Springs Area Only)

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
