What’S The Role?

Lead and execute the premium client relationship strategy across the UK region, managing a team of Relationship Managers and the Head of Sales Enablement to drive revenue growth, enhance client satisfaction, and deliver best-in-class service.

What will you do?

Strategic Leadership

  • Partner with the UK Commercial Director to shape and execute client relationship strategies that that fuel division-wide growth
  • Develop and implement innovative commercial initiatives through strategic collaboration with Dealing, Product, Marketing and the broader UKSLT
  • Identify and capitalise on up-sell and cross-sell opportunities across the premium client portfolio
  • Drive strategic acquisition of high-value clients through targeted relationship building and market positioning
  • Champion digital transformation in client relationship management, leveraging cutting-edge AI and technology to enhance delivery, personalisation, and operational efficiency
  • Design and execute a distinctive premium events strategy, creating hyper-personalised experiences that cement IG’s position as market leader

Team Management & Development

  • Lead and inspire a team of 13 relationship managers, plus Head of Sales Enablement, providing both operational guidance and strategic vision
  • Coach and develop team members to continuously drive account growth and retention
  • Set clear performance targets and accountability frameworks, ensuring alignment with divisional goals and regulatory frameworks
  • Cultivate a collaborative, results-driven culture centred on customer success and revenue generation

Client Relationship Excellence

  • Drive exceptional client experiences across the client lifecycle to maximise retention, satisfaction, and growth opportunities
  • Leverage customer insights to enhance user experience and identify process improvements
  • Maintain deep understanding of market and industry dynamics to inform strategic decision-making

What will you need for this role?

To succeed in this role, we think you’ll need:

Essential Experience

  • Proven track record in senior client relationship leadership roles within regulated financial services or premium B2B environments
  • Demonstrated success managing large, high-value client portfolios with measurable revenue growth
  • Strong people leadership experience
  • Experience driving digital transformation and process improvement initiatives
