Mō te tūranga | About the Role
An opportunity has arisen for you to join Westpac as a Regulatory Compliance Advisor. You will work as part of the team responsible for supporting and advising the business on compliance with outsourcing regulations, with a focus on the Reserve Bank of New Zealand’s BS11 Outsourcing Policy.
Working as a pivotal member of the team you will provide subject matter expertise and advice to the business on regulatory outsourcing compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Developing subject matter expertise in BS11 policy interpretation and compliance requirements
- Discussing and understanding the needs of the business and providing timely, commercial, and accurate advice
- Ensuring the business is operating within its regulatory obligations and risk appetite
- Providing compliance advice on business change and regulatory outsourcing impacts
- Fostering excellent working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders

To be successful in this, we are looking for someone who has the following skillset:
- Previous experience (2+ years) in a Regulatory Compliance/Advisory role preferred
- Experience within Financial services/banking preferred
- A growth mindset and a desire to learn and build up knowledge
- The ability to investigate, analyse and solve complex problems
- The ability to communicate and advise stakeholders effectively both written and verbal form
