What This Job Involves
To Accept Responsibility For The Effective Management And Successful Execution Of All Phases Of A Project Or Projects From Initial Establishment Of Requirements And Feasibility Studies To Final Handover To The Client. The Role Provides Coordinating Thought And Leadership To Encourage Maximum Contributions Of All Participants In The Project And Focuses These To Produce A Maximum Value Result.
- To deliver the required programme designated by the Client.
- To determine the needs requirements and constraints of the Client.
- To represent the Client from inception to completion of the project.
- To manage the pre-design, design, construction and completion stages of the project.
- To represent and promote the company throughout the project.
- To achieve company profit targets set for the project.
- To market the company in its pursuit of project opportunities.
Roles And Responsibilities:
- Manage a programme of small works (small projects) for the given year.
- Provide a clear plan for the project by setting objectives, and by programming, and budgeting to achieve these goals.
- Within each project, establish an effective organisation structure for reporting and responsibility and authority, and to establish working procedures.
- Monitor and report on the programs of the projects to measure the performance compared to programs and budgets, and to take corrective action.
- Monitor and report on the Company resources engaged in the projects, and to allocate these resources to complete the project within the Company budget.
Technical And Administrative Skills And Competencies:
- Carry out Client basic needs determination, commercial assessments and prepare proposals.
Prepare Design Briefs.
- Set up project control groups.
- Engage and manage professional consultants necessary for the design and documentation of the project.
- Review and negotiate project requirements with authorities.
- Carry out value engineering, buildability analysis, and critically review the design and documentation.
- Establish and monitor the project cost plan.
- Programme design to meet overall project objectives.
- Carry out efficient contract administration.
- Produce effective technical reports and regular programme reports.
- Chair meetings as required and produce minutes.
- Implement and appropriate quality control system.

- A degree in a relevant property related discipline or related field or a combination of formal education
- Work experience more than eight (8) years
- Two or three above yrs of which must be related to all aspects of Design/Construction/Project Management
