What You’Ll Do
Role Purpose:
We're looking for a Senior Auditor (Operations) to join our team, reporting to the Group Head of Internal Audit Operations. This is a key individual contributor role where you'll work directly with Internal Audit leadership, senior management, and our global audit team.
This role offers exposure to our fast-paced global business with varied, challenging projects. You'll contribute to our vision of creating a technology-enabled audit function that provides genuine value through data-driven insights.
- Reporting on issue remediation activity through regular monthly / quarterly reporting processes
- Performing month-end tasks, including data quality checks, creation of presentations and sending of month-end packs to management
- Perform monthly Internal Audit KPI reporting and dashboards
- Work with the Head of Internal Audit Operations to build new operational and insights reporting, providing insights into audit delivery, audit reports, issues and actions.
- Support preparation of Audit Committee papers and ad hoc management reporting
- Working with the Head of Internal Audit Operations to build, maintain and run a robust Quality Assurance and Improvement Programme (QAIP)
- Identify and implement improvements to audit methodologies and procedures
- Ensure consistency in approach across the global team, coaching and guidance wider audit team on methodology guidelines.
- Contribute to the Ops and Internal Audit Strategy through practical ideas and supporting implementation
- Contribute to improving our audit management system configuration and support its administration
- Support the delivery of critical initiatives that position Internal Audit as a valued business partner
- Manage the schedule of team meetings and training for global internal audit team, including our bi-annual in-person training events
- Supporting / leading team meetings and drive engagement initiatives across multiple locations
- Facilitate working sessions and coordinate team projects and initiatives
How you’ll do it
- Strong background in internal audit with professional qualification (CIA preferred)
- Advanced understanding of internal controls, including proper design, implementation and testing
- The ability to create structured procedure guidance and training material
- Excellent analytical and technical skills
- Outstanding communication skills – both written and verbal
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Self-starter who can work independently and drive projects forward
- Collaborative great teammate who builds effective relationships
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience or interest in using data analytics tools and techniques would be a distinct advantage
- Experience with audit management systems and process improvement
- Ability to build insightful reporting through meaningful analysis of different information types
- Experience facilitating workshops and training sessions
Measure Of Success
- You'll play an important part in our ongoing transformation – helping embed our new systems and processes while exploring innovative ways to deliver insights that matter.
- Working closely with our Data Analytics team, you'll develop operational reporting and identify innovative approaches to support both internal teams and external stakeholders in a timely fashion
