As the Senior Maintenance & Reliability Engineer, you’ll help clients improve how they care for their assets using smart data, modern tools, and proactive strategies. Your work will reduce downtime, boost performance, and lower long-term costs, helping equipment run smarter, longer and more efficiently.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong technical understanding of HMH’s equipment models, types, variants, functions, capabilities, and maintenance procedures.
  • Help identify potential issues before they happen by analyzing performance data and spotting early warning signs.
  • Monitor client equipment health using data analytics tools to identify performance trends and early signs of potential failures or system degradation.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize maintenance schedules, with a focus on maximizing equipment uptime.
  • Recommend smarter maintenance schedules to keep equipment running and avoid costly breakdowns.
  • Use tools like vibration and oil analysis to monitor equipment’s health and suggest improvements.
  • Work with teams across engineering, manufacturing, and field service to solve problems and improve processes.
  • Lead or support projects that improve reliability and efficiency.
  • Help investigate and solve major equipment failures using structured problem-solving methods.
  • Contribute to creating digital solutions that automate workflows and improve how we manage maintenance using data analytics.
  • Keep safety and quality top of mind in everything you do.
  • Share your knowledge and insights in team reviews and learning sessions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or high school diploma/GED with at least 9 years of relevant experience)
  • Minimum of 5 years’ technical experience in industrial maintenance or reliability.
  • Familiarity with oil and gas equipment like pressure control, hoisting systems, pumps, and drill floor machinery.
  • Experience with modern maintenance strategies like RCM and CBM.
  • Bonus if you’ve worked with tools like vibration analysis, thermography, or ultrasonic testing.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a mindset for continuous improvement.
  • Comfortable using digital tools like Power BI, PowerApps, or basic programming (VBA, Python).
  • Great communication skills and the ability to work with people across different teams and cultures.
  • Fluent in English and confident working in a digital, multicultural environment.
