We are looking for a commercially minded and energised Key Account Manager to help us grow the E-Commerce business for the LEGO Group in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Please note: This position is on a fixed-term contract basis until end of August 2027 and will be based in our LEGO® Sales Office in Grasbrunn, close to Munich and will follow a hybrid working model with 3 days in the office and up to 2 days remotely. Relocation support is not offered.

Core Responsibilities

  • Full P&L responsibility and development of up to 4 strategic E-Com Retail Partners
  • Annual Business Planning Process (Consumer Sales, P&L, Marketing), joint definition of key priorities with the retailer
  • Development of the E-Com/Omnichannel Roadmap (E-Merchandising, driving of traffic & conversion, increasing loyal shopper base) in close collaboration with E-Com Marketing Managers
  • Preparation and independent leading of the annual customer meetings/terms and conditions
  • Monthly S&OP planning, regular analysis of critical metrics and implementation of corrective measures
  • Presentation and selling in of novelties and marketing campaigns
  • Partner Management (Marketing, Operations, international teams)
  • Possibility of cross-departmental project work

The Europe Central (D-A-CH) Sales Team works in 3 Retail Channels (Toy Specialist, Grocery, E-Commerce) complemented by Customer Development and Field Sales plus Field Sales Management. The Key Account Management Team within EUC Sales is responsible for successfully delivering the Customer Value Proposition to our key partners in order to fulfil our Partner Promise of Mutual Value Creation and generate sustainable growth. The role handles relationships and business operations for key customers within the E-Commerce Channel (Pure Players and Omnichannel Players with a majority of Online Sales) and reports into the Channel Head E-Commerce. In this role, you will work closely with internal team members across Sales, Customer Service, Operations and Marketing to improve commercial impact!

Do you have what it takes?

  • In-depth working experience in commercial driven functions at international Consumer Goods companies, of which ideally some years in Key Account Management front-line roles
  • Proven track record in key customer management for E-Com/Omnichannel Retailers
  • Digital-first approach, understanding of the online path to purchase, experience in dealing with E-Commerce metrics
  • Experienced in managing customer P&L (independently)
  • Sophisticated negotiation skills, assertiveness
  • Functional Leadership experience of advantage
  • Profound knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
  • Good knowledge of SAP-based Sales Customer Planning Solution tools
  • Business proficient in German and English
