Major Responsibilities:

  • Develops media strategy within overarching marketing and branding initiatives, ensuring timely execution.
  • Provides direction on project review, prioritization and delivery by coordinating team resources, activities and work efforts.
  • Develops and manages the media budget for the Brand Services team.
  • Planning and executing custom media partnerships with a heavy focus on content development.
  • Media planning and buying across display, video, mobile and social channels, owning elements of planning and execution.
  • Monitor trends, tools, opportunities and applications in paid media environments, and appropriately apply that knowledge.
  • Develop and present media specific documents such as RFPs, media plans, objectives and strategies decks, and other related functions.
  • Create campaign post launch information such as screenshots, links and placement information to demonstrate proof of placement for clients.
  • Manage day-to-day communication with key partners: Vendors, Partner Agencies and Creative media and social clients.
  • Use negotiation skills to achieve best pricing and added value for each media buy.
  • Report on campaign performance with the ability to distill and curate insights and findings.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications or related field

Experience Requirements:

  • Typically requires 7 years of experience in media buying and strategy.  

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Knowledge of media resources, terminology and applications.
  • Understanding of all media types, including TV, Radio, Print, Outdoor, Digital, Social, Video and Streaming.
  • Proven experience employing innovative thinking and creative strategic solutions.
  • Strong understanding of analyzing product offerings, customers and market dynamics and ability to assess and create competitive analyses, opportunities and market segmentation.
  • Ability to challenge conventional thinking in a constructive and customer-centric approach; expected to demonstrate strategic creative thinking.
  • Ability to thrive in the ambiguity of innovation while inspiring teams to deliver results through commercialization with an overall optimistic and positive attitude.
  • Proven record of leading diverse groups of people to achieve desired results; strong personal and professional communication skills.
  • Experienced in leading integrated, multi-media campaigns, developing brand positioning and brand strategy and measuring outcomes.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills; proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects under tight project deadlines.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Motivated to work in a team environment that promotes collaboration.
