Job Overview:

We’re looking for a visionary and experienced leader to shape the future of our internal communication ecosystem. As Vice President of Communication Channels, you will assess, build, and manage our internal communication platforms—ensuring they are modern, effective, and aligned with our employee experience strategy. You’ll drive placement and promotion strategies for all internal content and deliver performance insights through metrics that matter. In addition, through your leadership of an Enterprise Communication Council, you will be responsible for the governance and alignment of all decentralized communications and channels.

This role is ideal for a seasoned digital communication strategist with experience working at large Fortune-500 companies and who thrives at the intersection of technology, storytelling, and employee engagement.

Reporting to the SVP of Internal Communications, you’ll work closely with executive leaders and other departments across the firm in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and draw on your strategic communications experience to navigate complexity and ambiguity while mitigating risk.  

The role requires someone who can operate independently, manage priorities effectively, thrives in an ever-changing environment, has a friendly can-do attitude, and pays attention to detail. We’re not looking for someone to do things the way they’ve always been done. Someone who is curious, innovative, and thinks outside of the box is well-suited for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategy, development, and management of all internal communication channels, with a focus on digital platforms.
  • Govern and align decentralized communication channels within business units across the enterprise to ensure consistency, clarity, and impact.
  • Develop and execute content placement and promotion strategies that maximize reach and resonance.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure channels support business priorities and employee needs.
  • Establish and report on channel performance metrics, using data to inform continuous improvement.
  • Stay ahead of trends in digital communication, employee experience, and workplace technology.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in communication, marketing, digital media, or employee engagement, with a strong focus on channel strategy.
  • Proven success leading enterprise-wide communication platforms and governance models.
  • Deep understanding of digital communication tools (e.g., intranet, email platforms, mobile apps, collaboration tools).
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive decisions and demonstrate impact.
  • Exceptional leadership, collaboration, and change management skills.
  • Passion for creating meaningful employee experiences through communication.

  • Ability to interact and collaborate well with senior executives—as well as professionals at all levels of the organization, , as well as external partners and vendors.
  • A poised, professional communications leader who is adept at proactive problem-solving and comfortable advising executives.
  • Ability to independently and successfully prioritize and manage multiple projects for a variety of stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  • Stellar written and oral communication skills, with the ability to grasp and translate complex and disparate ideas into cohesive and clear key messages delivered in a conversational tone
  • Graceful under pressure, resilient, and flexible in the face of change.
  • Proven ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver high-quality work quickly.
  • A thoughtful approach to audience segmentation, considering impact to all stakeholders in decisions and messaging

Pay Range:

$121,725-$202,875/yearActual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
