Postion Summary:

All brands strategy, product development and innovation are led and driven by certain PVH affiliates in the US with respect to products under the Calvin Klein, and Tommy Hilfiger sold in NA, Asia and SA; and in the Netherlands with respect to products bearing the Tommy Hilfiger Europe, Calvin Klein Europe with respect and sold in the Asia region. The position in this job description helps the above mentioned PVH related parties meet their operating and strategic needs.

• The RM team is at the forefront of driving the entire L2 and L3 engagement of the business to support the L1 achieve the desired business aspirations of the PVH business. The RM role compromises from the point of design to delivery covering the total engagement of the L2 and L3. From drawing up the supply chain strategy, Supplier selection, Managing compliance, offering innovation and collection in to the business, operationalizing the RM components in to reality, Having the RM best suited for the end use, managing the entire operations of the L2 and L3 during execution, Managing the KPI’s as per the expectations of the business and in the meantime driving new solutions to support the increasing demands of the business are mainly within the scope of the RM role of the organization.
• The Senior Raw Material Technician role will manage and develop Knit/woven/denim/yarns & outerwear fabrics, along with driving innovation, sustainability, delivery, quality, speed and cost.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities

• Lead in daily raw material merchandising duties, documentations and data management support.
• Maintain fabric detail sheets and testing documents for the seasonal fabric libraries.
• Review testing Documents and helping assist suppliers with technical support.
• Manage and monitor/Follow up Sales sampling across across all fabric categories.
• Facilitate the innovative and newness products moving into bulk smoothly by identifying and matching the RM product capability and end use together
• Preparing business data reports, maintain reports pertaining to Knit/Woven/Denim/Yarns/Outerwear.
• Prepare the PVH team training materials, Protocols, SOP for mills
• Manage Seasonal Sourcing, development, Sampling, Costing, Testing & platforming for all raw materials
• Communicate and prepare meetings with suppliers.
• Manage departments daily operation/equipment maintain etc.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Raw Material Director.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (Design, PD, QA & Merchandise) on issues and developments that pertain to your area.
• Build and Manage Supply chain based off 1, 3 & 5 year sourcing strategy.
• Prepare material swatches & co-ordinates raw material to send out to New York office counterpart.
• Can Manage oneself and learn new knowledge and adapt to new responsibilities.
• Ability to work with multi-cultural, multi-lingual, counter-parts and being open to changes.

Education & Experience

• Post-secondary degree with a minimum of 5 years of raw material experience working in mill and/or sourcing offices, with extensive technical knowledge.  

Skills:

• Woven/Knit/Denim/Yarns textile knowledge is required.
• Good judgment & decision-making skills (with an ability to get to root cause analysis).
• Sound knowledge and experience in product innovation (Ideal on RM components)
