Our Asia Pacific Investments business has a large, dedicated and highly experienced investment team which has been investing across the region since 1985, and manages all our Asian products, including regional, country, smaller companies, and sustainable investing propositions.
The team has a strong regional footprint with offices in Singapore, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Seoul, and Sydney. This breadth gives us close proximity to the companies we own and the markets we invest in. Our APAC operations have been based in Singapore since 1992. We invest in Asian companies to grow with them and to help them to become better investors.
Role Responsibilities
- Design and deliver marketing automation strategy for APAC investments markets ensuring that customer journeys and email communications are consistently integrated as part of the marketing mix and business objectives.
- Assume responsibility for the day-to-day management and execution across the Marketing Automation platforms (E.g. Salesforce, Cvent, MS Teams), supporting business units and implementation of local communication strategies.
- Manage promotion and governance of lead nurturing initiatives including data acquisition, list building, segmentation, targeting, analysis and marketing qualified lead scoring.
- Manage good data quality relating to overall data hygiene practices, bounce rate, integrity and accuracy across technology platforms.
- Extract data-driven insights about marketing programs & initiatives and provide ideas to optimise marketing propositions and boost ROI.
- Identify additional data sources to strengthen our client targeting opportunities. Utilise first party data framework to support ongoing marketing engagement.
- Lead the generation and management of marketing qualified leads by designing and implementing automated workflows and email nurture campaigns, in close collaboration with regional marketing teams.
- Design and build of HTML templates using coding practices to ensure responsive and best practice email execution.
- Assist Hong Kong senior channel manager for in-person, hybrid & virtual events, and other marketing operation and admin tasks.
- Create and localise quality marketing assets (including fund guide, placemat, brochures, flyers, videos and electronic direct mailers) across offline and digital channels to promote our investment capabilities and focused funds.
- Craft story angles and produce content in innovative formats to appeal to our target audiences. Facilitate the review of marketing material to ensure compliance with local regulations.
Skills & Experience
- An experienced, passionate marketer with a proven track record of campaign execution, event management, web analytics and platform management. Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in integrated marketing covering email and events management.
- Experience with enterprise email marketing platforms, preferably Salesforce, including the independent ability to build programs, create journeys, database hygiene, triggers & alerts, dynamic content and lead scoring models
- Highly competent use of HTML and CSS languages in email design
- Strong knowledge in working with databases, data analysis, segmentation and targeting
- Experience with developing marketing materials and event management
- Reading and writing proficiency in simplified and traditional Chinese language skills. Conversational Cantonese preferred.
- Good understanding of investment management industry, including investment products, client segment and competitor landscape.
- Ability to move at a fast pace but be detail oriented. Have a can-do attitude to support team in a lean, cross functional environment.
