SUMMARY  iFIT’s vision is to create the world's most holistic health and fitness platform, integrating all elements of health - physical fitness, mental health, nutrition and active recovery - into a seamless interactive experience. We develop proprietary software that learns and adjusts to the habits of each person as it delivers immersive content that guides them on their individual fitness journey.   We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team in a cross-functional role that bridges Quality Assurance (QA) and Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering (IE). This position is designed for candidates with 0–5 years of experience who are eager to build both an engineering and quality mindset. A degree is not required, though it is considered a plus. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands-on experience across multiple functions, contribute to improving our manufacturing processes, and help ensure our products meet the highest quality standards.     ROLE COMMITMENTS ⦁ Audit current processes and liaise with manufacturing engineering and plant personnel; instruct, train and improve people and processes with a continuous improvement mindset. ⦁ Develop a system of managing problem identification, root cause analysis, potential solutions and recommendations with an emphasis on closed-loop problem solving. ⦁ Creating and managing time studies that involve a systematic process of observation, data collection, and analysis to establish standard times for tasks. The ultimate goal is to improve efficiency, eliminate waste, and optimize workflows. ⦁ Create process flow mapping, statistical reporting, and data-rich resources for the engineering team in order to create actionable projects that positively influence safety, quality, cost and delivery.        ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Quality Assurance & Control ⦁ Develop and implement QA/QC processes, procedures, and specifications to meet quality and safety standards.   ⦁ Lead root cause analyses using structured problem-solving tools (5-Whys, Fishbone, etc.) to address defects and non-conformances.   ⦁ Manage Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) by driving cross-functional teams to implement lasting solutions.   ⦁ Conduct inspections, testing, and internal audits to maintain compliance with industry and company standards.   ⦁ Collect, analyze, and report key quality metrics (defect rates, process capability, etc.) to monitor and improve performance.   Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering ⦁ Evaluate and optimize manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs.   ⦁ Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles through continuous improvement initiatives and Kaizen events.   ⦁ Design and improve production layouts, workflows, and material flow for maximum efficiency.   ⦁ Perform capacity planning and time studies to set production standards and align with schedules.   ⦁ Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by collaborating with design engineers on manufacturability and coordinating trial runs.   Cross-Functional Collaboration ⦁ Partner with design, production, supply chain, and engineering teams to ensure quality and efficiency goals are met across the product lifecycle.   ⦁ Act as a liaison between production teams and engineering for quality and training matters.   ⦁ Develop and deliver training to production staff on new processes, equipment, and quality protocols.   ⦁ Prepare reports and present project progress, findings, and improvement recommendations to leadership.   Qualifications EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Education ⦁ Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical field preferred but not required.   Experience ⦁ 0–5 years in a manufacturing and/or quality environment.   Technical Skills ⦁ Familiarity with statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab) and quality management software.   ⦁ Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies preferred but not required.   ⦁ Experience with SolidWorks a plus, but not required.   Soft Skills ⦁ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.   ⦁ Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.   ⦁ Detail-oriented with a mindset for continuous improvement.   Certifications (Preferred, Not Required) ⦁ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)   ⦁ Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
