Azure Cloud Architect

About The Role:

We seek a highly skilled Azure Cloud Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will be responsible for architecting scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure to support our business applications and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Azure cloud solutions to meet business requirements.
• Develop and maintain cloud architecture standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure cloud solutions are aligned with application requirements.
• Conduct cloud readiness assessments and provide recommendations for cloud adoption.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and security.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and industry regulations.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
• Stay updated with the latest Azure services, features, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Azure Cloud Architect or similar role.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and Azure architecture.
• Proficiency in Azure services such as Azure Policies, Azure vNets, Private Endpoints, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure RBAC and more.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as ARM templates, Microsoft Bicep, Azure Resource Manager, and Terraform.
• Knowledge of networking, TCP/IP basics, security, and identity management in Azure.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert-AZ 305, ) are a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with hybrid cloud environments.
• Familiarity with other cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Extensive experience (3+ years) as an Infrastructure as Code Developer, with a proven track record in Azure and AWS environments.
• Advanced proficiency in IaC tools: ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform, Azure Resource Manager, AWS CloudFormation, and AWS CDK.
• Python language proficiency
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, networking, security, and identity management in Azure and AWS.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and team collaboration skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
