This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Business Development Manager to join our Next Payments team. We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic proven performer, with experience and relationships within the NSW Hospitality and Gaming Industry (RSLs, Hotels, Casinos, Clubs etc.) to assist with our ever-growing client base and product rollouts.
With new product launches, strong business growth (170 employees currently, and we expect that number to continue to increase!), and recently winning Casino and Carded Play tenders, it is an exciting time to join Next Payments!
Some of our products include ATMs, cash recyclers, cash redemption terminals, EFTPOS, reconciliation software, and loyalty cards.
You will be joining a unique business culture, working amongst a harmonious team delivering reliable and desirable products and solutions to an exciting industry.
The Role
- Reporting to the State Sales Manager, you are responsible for creating new business in gaming venues within NSW.
- Opportunity for sales in NSW are abundant – meeting sales targets will be critical.
- Use existing relationships to book meetings.
- Attend industry networking events and functions.
- Make use of CRM software to track sales and maintain a diary of appointments.
- Travel NSW as required to attend sites and gain sales.
- Work with other BDMs in the state, plus all other staff.
- Manage ongoing customer relations after closing sales.
- Some interstate travel may be required.
About You
- Ability to work autonomously to generate leads and convert sales effectively.
- A confident salesperson, with strong networking and communication skills is essential for this role.
- Highly developed organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and products whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Currently hold (or ability to obtain and maintain) a gaming licence.
- Must have experience and existing relationships within the gaming sector.
