Civil Project Manager – Site-Based

We are starting a new project near Dubbo and are now looking for a site-based Civil Project Manager to join our team for a minimum 6-month project. This is a FIFO or DIDO role with accommodation provided. You’ll be working hands-on to help deliver civil infrastructure as part of a mining surface construction project.

We’re seeking a skilled Civil Project Manager to take ownership of a high-profile construction project involving concrete structures, formwork, and steel fixing. You'll manage the full lifecycle of the project from mobilisation to delivery, while coordinating site teams and maintaining client engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Full project lifecycle management – from planning and mobilisation through to execution and close-out
• Coordinate civil construction works including formwork, concreting, and steel fixing
• Manage schedules, budgets, resources, and subcontractors
• Oversee HSE compliance and ensure project quality standards are met
• Engage regularly with clients, site personnel, and stakeholders
• Identify project risks and lead issue resolution on site
• Report on project progress, variations, and key milestones
• Ensure effective communication and team collaboration across disciplines

About You

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering
• Proven experience managing civil construction projects – mining/heavy industrial ideal
• Strong leadership and planning skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Proficiency in interpreting multi-disciplinary drawings and construction documentation
• Strong site-based experience and understanding of safety, QA, and construction compliance
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Confident working independently in remote locations on rosters
• Familiarity with P6 or other scheduling tools (desirable)
• Able to commence work within the next 3-4 weeks
• Must be able to pass regular D&A testing and site required medicals
