Role And Responsibilities:
- Communicates with employees across our organizational structure regarding benefits-related concerns
- Assures that payroll-related transactions are processed in compliance with external and internal policies
- Performs actions necessary to track and determine regular, overtime pay, bonuses and special payments
- Manage various types of leaves of absence
- Conduct benefits reconciliation
- Serve as liaison between the company and various insurance agencies
- Processes and reviews tax withholdings, and other deductions
- Maintains knowledge of rules and laws which govern the payroll and benefits administration
- Reviews and processes payroll adjustments, including retro, paid time off and other time off
- Reconciles errors and maintains payroll records
- Fields and responds to payroll inquiries and resolves discrepancies as required
- Provide benefits-related guidance as necessary
- Other payroll/benefits-related tasks as assigned
Skill And Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- At least 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Advanced knowledge of employee benefits programs such as 401(k), FMLA, etc.
- (Preferred) Experience in manufacturing companies
- Advanced in Microsoft Office - Excel especially with V-Lookups, Pivot Tables
- Good understanding of payroll calculation such as overtime, shift payments, and others
- Ability to maintain payroll records and prepare payroll reports
- Ability to solve problems that routinely occur in payroll with standard procedures
- Ability to communicate information about payroll that requires some explanation or interpretation
