The Email Marketing Coordinator position is based in our Milton office.

About The Role

Lung Foundation Australia is seeking an Email Marketing Coordinator to help us deliver timely, targeted and data-driven communications that support and engage people living with lung disease and lung cancer. This position is a part-time (0.6FTE), 6-month fixed term contract.

This role will support our day-to-day email and automation efforts. You’ll work closely with our Marketing Automation Specialist to manage email marketing requests across the organisation, helping to build and optimise campaigns, eNewsletters and automated journeys that drive real impact.

You’ll bring a strong understanding of email marketing tools, data segmentation and user journeys – as well as a passion for crafting engaging communications that connect people to our mission.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Campaign Execution & Email Builds: Design and distribute email marketing campaigns including eNewsletters and promotional communications.
• Automation & Journeys: Support the execution of automated journeys in Ortto (email and SMS) to deepen audience engagement and drive fundraising outcomes.
• Content & Collaboration: Edit email content where required, and liaise with teams across the organisation to manage the email calendar and campaign needs.
• Data-Driven Optimisation: Use performance data to test and improve email content, design, and subject lines, while maintaining compliance with data privacy principles.

About You

You’re a digital communicator who’s passionate about using email marketing to deliver the right message to the right audience at the right time. You’re tech-savvy, organised, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Essential Skills And Attributes Include:

• Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a marketing role, with hands-on experience in email marketing. Experience working in a non-for-profit or health organisation is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and marketing platforms (Ortto or similar).
• Solid understanding of email campaign lifecycles, including segmentation, testing, deployment and reporting.
• Familiarity with data privacy policies and their application in communications.
• Strong editing and content formatting skills, with high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines in a collaborative team setting.
