We develop, create, package and distribute a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages worldwide with some of the most sophisticated beverage processing equipment in the world, ensuring that our products are consistently produced to the highest standards. The Opportunity

As a Chemical Engineer at IDL you will focus on quality assurance and processes. This will include being responsible for developing, monitoring, and optimising beverage production and packaging processes, ensuring product integrity, consistency, and compliance with industry standards. This role will focus on process control, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce variability in production.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refine production processes including fermentation, blending, filtration, and packaging
• Implement and maintain quality assurance systems aligned with HACCP, GMP, and BRC standards
• Monitor and analyse production data to identify trends, and improve efficiency
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives for process deviations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development, equipment reliability and staff training
• Drive continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives across manufacturing operations
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and internal quality standards

Qualifications And Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering
• Experience in quality control within beverage manufacturing is preferred
• HACCP certification is preferred

• The role is primarily based in Geelong, with occasional travel to other sites
