Lead Software Engineer (C#) - Lead the Future of AI Platforms

Join us in building the core AI platform that powers innovation across Tricentis. As a Lead Software Engineer, you’ll own the design and delivery of the platform that every AI feature depends on. You will be solving complex distributed systems challenges and setting the technical direction for AI at scale. You’ll work on capabilities like:

• Seamless connectivity between local and remote MCP servers and AI agents
• Pluggable RAG architecture so customers could “bring their own” retrieval strategies
• Extensible model and agent integration, enabling customers to use their own AI components

You Will:

• Drive technical decision-making in the team, solve the hard problems, and bring creative, novel ideas into the mix.
• You are responsible for all parts of the software development process: requirements analysis, implementation, test, etc.
• You work in a self-organizing team in our agile software development process and help shape it to continuously improve
• You develop valuable increments for our product according to our vision with the newest technologies
• Continuous learning and improvement of your and our way of working is part of your daily business
• As a lead you are acting as a role model for your team and guide less experienced members of your team
• You have an eye on all non-functional aspects of development (security, performance, scalability, reusability) and do the reviews for critical implementations
• When user stories are planned, you make sure that an implementation plan is created, and you challenge user stories on a technical level.
• You are skilled in communicating and can argue your ideas and views

Qualifications:

• Software development experience in C#
• Experience with development in .Net
• You are able to plan larger implementations and can integrate your solutions in an existing code base.
• Be comfortable with change: we are building very new products and we are continuously evaluating if we are on track with customers and internal stakeholders. Sometimes we will need to pivot and get back to the drawing board.
• You are motivated by achieving innovative results and approach your tasks in a solution-oriented manner
• You know when to apply design patterns and strive for high quality, maintainable and clean code

• If You’Ve Got Some Of These Skills, Even Better:

• Experience with developing cloud services (Azure or AWS)
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• A good overview of current trends in AI development or experience with AI
• Experience working in and succeeding as an agile development team
