About The Role

Our team advises a wide range of clients, including insurers, brokers, self-insured employers, and the insured, on both contentious and non-contentious insurance matters. We’ve built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, partner-led legal advice, backed by a consistently high level of service and a proven track record of successful outcomes.

In This Role You Will:

• Manage a diverse file load of personal injury insurance claims under both the workers' compensation and PIPA frameworks
• Take the lead with your own advocacy at compulsory conferences
• Prepare Reasons for Decisions in statutory workers’ compensation matters under supervision
• Receive mentoring and support from multiple senior practitioners and Partners, giving you exposure to a variety of styles and expertise

About You

You’re a motivated legal practitioner with 3–5 years’ PAE, with experience in either Queensland workers’ compensation or defendant insurance, and a passion for pursuing a career in insurance litigation. Experience with complex and sensitive matters, such as institutional liability or historical abuse claims, will be highly regarded.

• Developing ability to identify potential issues and contribute to effective matter progression
