A Day In The Life
The Principal Supply Chain Analyst will work with the entire Service Parts team and take a lead role for driving process improvement initiatives across the spare parts function. This role blends supply chain subject matter expertise with project management and cross-functional collaboration to optimize operational efficiency and service delivery.You are expected to work from the office two times a week. You will cover the Netherlands region and report to the Senior Supply Chain Planning Manager.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Process Improvement Leadership: Spearhead initiatives to streamline spare parts planning, ordering, and distribution workflows. Identify bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions that enhance responsiveness and reduce lead times
- End-to-End Supply Chain Optimization: Support innovation, design, and continuous improvement of supply chain systems, with a focus on spare parts logistics and service repair operations
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Export, Service & Repair, Logistics, Planning) to align spare parts processes with broader supply chain goals. Act as a liaison between regional teams and global operations
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage analytics to monitor KPIs such as inventory levels, scrap rates, and order fulfillment. Use insights to guide strategic decisions and support business cases for improvement projects
- System Transformation Support: Contribute to the deployment of advanced planning systems (e.g., Blue Yonder ) and ensure spare parts workflows are integrated into new platforms
Required Knowledge And Experience:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Logistics/Supply Chain or relevant working experience
- 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management in an international environment
- Project Management, Change Management and IT transformation experience
- Expertise in Blue Yonder Planning systems with a background in Supply, Demand and Distribution Planning
- Computer literacy (MS Office, Excel and preferably SAP/ERP and Blue Yonder)
- Excellent command of English language
