About You

We’re looking for a hands-on, motivated Assistant Facilities & Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to make an impact. You are:

  • Experienced in facilities management, property maintenance, or project coordination.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset and strong business acumen.
  • A strong communicator, capable of building relationships with landlords, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Highly organised and capable of managing competing priorities across multiple locations.
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively across departments.
  • Willing and available to travel nationally as required (all expenses covered)

The Role

As our Assistant Facilities & Project Manager, you’ll be a key member of the Property Team, supporting the maintenance and fit-out of our Large Format Retail Showrooms and Distribution Centres across Australia. Your mission:

  • Oversee reactive and scheduled maintenance, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
  • Tender, engage, and manage contractors for facilities and project work.
  • Maintain the Facilities Maintenance Register and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
  • Manage work orders through company procurement systems, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Control and audit the Key Management System.
  • Respond to security alarms when required.
  • Assist Project Managers with store fit-outs, refurbishments, and small project rollouts.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for procurement and delivery of goods for new store setups.

Skills & Experience

  • Background in facilities management, project management, or procurement.
  • Understanding of building systems, services, and maintenance processes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong time management and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Retail facilities experience is highly regarded.
