Position Description:
- The Sr. Manager assists the Associate Director in the organizational administration of the MRO storeroom as well as the Asset recovery group.
- This role will support Global Equipment Disposition as well as MRO stores North America (NA).
- The primary role of this position is to manage equipment disposition (redeployment, sales, and donations) of Global Lilly surplus equipment and supplies. This role will also include managing MRO Slow Moving and Obsolete Inventory - taking ownership of the program including to and not limited to removal of items from NA MRO Inventory (inclusive of Satellite locations) as well as management over the warehouse at MRO.
- This job involves significant interaction with a variety of different areas including manufacturing operations, building engineers, engineering coordinators, finance, HSE, GFD and environmental.
Key Objectives/Deliverables:
- Conduct Performance Management Process reviews for their direct reports.
- Sponsor onsite contract resources.
- Provide Project Management support to ongoing projects.
- Lead Process team at MRO stores
- Participate as a member of the Engineering Services Lead Team
- Manage relationships and contracts with outside equipment brokers
- Manage various environmental concerns with equipment incoming and outgoing
- Responsible for managing equipment sales deposits into appropriate account.
- Evaluate storage solutions for large and slow-moving inventory for NA MRO as well as asset recovery.
- Manage obsolete parts inventory at not only NA MRO but at satellite locations for NA.
Basic Requirements:
- Engineering Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience
Additional Preferences:
- Pharmaceutical manufacturing site experience
- Deep understanding of Maximo a plus
- Previous experience with equipment or knowledge of pharma manufacturing equipment preferred
Other Information:
- Occasional travel outside Indiana may be required.

- This is an onsite position and would require relocation to Indianapolis, IN (within driving distance). This position is not remote.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$96,000 - $140,800Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
