What You'Ll Do

As Program Manager- Nurturing Parenting you will function as the onsite team leader of the Nurturing Parenting program. You will ensure appropriate development of presentation materials for all workshops and training for members of the community, caregivers, and licensed and certified professionals in the community. You will develops relationships with community agencies in order to create opportunities to expand program as well as present workshops and training on-site and in the community.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Develop and implement community workshops to help foster positive parenting for families in the community.
  • Ensure opportunities for engagement, and other precursors to learning, for all clients with different learning styles and developmental levels.
  • Ensure periodic and appropriate evaluations are conducted for all clients.
  • Ensure appropriate data collection and data management systems are utilized.
  • Attends weekly and monthly meetings, as needed to aid in program development and communication.
  • Interacts with client families and community groups; maintains open and cooperative communication with parents and families, encouraging their involvement.
  • Returns interest calls and manages interest logs.
  • Enrolls new clients, ensuring all required paperwork is completed.
  • Assists with marketing and events as needed.
  • Assists in accounts receivable by accepting payments and generating billing as directed by the Program Director. 

You're a great fit for this role if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, child development, behavior analysis, or related field, preferred.
  • Current driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance if travel in the affiliate’s service area is required.
