Full Time

Oracle Health is seeking a versatile Full Stack Software Engineer to develop end-to-end solutions for our healthcare technology products. In this role, you will contribute across the entire tech stack – from front-end user interfaces to back-end services – to deliver seamless features that improve the healthcare experience for providers and patients. This position offers the chance to work on a variety of projects, including modern web applications, cloud-native services, and AI-powered healthcare tools. As a Full Stack engineer, you will be at the forefront of innovation, integrating AI, enhanced user experiences, and open APIs into Oracle’s health platform. The role is ideal for developers who enjoy solving complex problems across layers and is remote-friendly, with Oracle’s collaborative engineering culture ensuring you stay connected with your team regardless of location.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Develop features end-to-end: Take ownership of features from concept to deployment – build
  • responsive front-end components as well as the supporting back-end logic, ensuring each feature is
  • cohesive and delivers a great user experience.
  • Implement modern web UIs (using JavaScript/TypeScript and relevant frameworks) that provide
  • clinicians and patients with intuitive interactions and real-time information. Pair this with robust
  • back-end code (services, APIs, databases) to power the front-end functionality.
  • Work closely with product managers and designers to understand user needs and translate
  • requirements into technical solutions that span multiple tiers of the application.
  • Ensure code quality and system maintainability by conducting thorough code reviews, writing
  • automated tests (unit, integration, UI tests), and adhering to best practices in both front-end and
  • back-end development.
  • Deploy and monitor applications in production (DevOps mindset): participate in deploying your
  • code to cloud infrastructure, setting up monitoring/alerts, and quickly debugging any issues that
  • arise in live environments.
  • Collaborate with specialists across disciplines (UI/UX, data science, security) to incorporate features
  • like data analytics or AI-driven insights into the product’s workflow.
  • Continuously learn and adapt to new tools and technologies across the stack. You’ll stay informed
  • about advancements in web frameworks, cloud services, and healthcare IT, applying that knowledge
  • to keep Oracle Health’s systems at the cutting edge.

Career Level Ic3

  • Required Qualifications:
  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent
  • experience). 3+ years of software development experience, with significant projects in both frontend and back-end capacities (full stack development).
  • Front-End Skills: Proficiency in building modern web interfaces using JavaScript/TypeScript,
  • HTML5, CSS3. Experience with at least one popular front-end framework (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue)
  • for building dynamic single-page applications.
  • Back-End Skills: Strong experience in one or more server-side languages (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js)
  • and frameworks. Ability to design and use RESTful APIs and work with databases (SQL and/or
  • NoSQL).
  • Full Stack Experience: Proven ability to work across the stack – comfortable switching between
  • front-end and back-end tasks. Understanding of how the front-end, back-end, and database layers
  • interact in a web application.
  • Cloud & DevOps: Familiarity with cloud platforms (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, AWS, or Azure) and
  • deploying applications in a cloud environment. Experience with containerization (Docker) and
  • possibly container orchestration (Kubernetes) for full-stack applications is a plus.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills across different layers of the tech
  • stack. Able to diagnose issues whether they originate in the client-side code, server logic, or
  • database queries.
  • Teamwork: Strong collaborative mindset with great communication skills. Experience working in
  • agile teams, and ability to effectively communicate technical ideas to both engineering and non-engineering stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and frameworks quickly. Passion for
  • staying up-to-date with industry trends, which is crucial in a fast-evolving domain like health tech.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • - Experience with full-stack development in a healthcare context, such as building patient-facing
  • applications or clinical dashboards. Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards and regulations is
  • an advantage.
  • - Exposure to AI/ML integration (e.g., implementing machine learning models or AI services into an
  • application) – Oracle Health is exploring AI-first healthcare systems, so interest or experience in this
  • area is valuable.
  • - Contributions to open-source projects or hackathons, especially in health tech or related fields,
  • demonstrating a proactive engagement with the tech community.
  • Why Oracle Health? At Oracle Health, full stack engineers have a unique opportunity to drive innovation
  • across the entire product. You will build solutions that incorporate AI, deliver enhanced user
  • experiences, and leverage open APIs to shape the future of healthcare. We believe in empowering our

  • interface details to backend architecture. Oracle offers competitive compensation, comprehensive
  • benefits, and remote work flexibility, creating an environment where you can do your best work from
