Position Overview:

We are experiencing unprecedented growth and looking to hire a Sales Manager to lead our best in industry, Creative and Licensing Specialists (Account Executives). This is not an ordinary sales job, and this is not your ordinary sales manager’s role. You will not be selling another SaaS software product looking to create a problem that does not exist. You will not be leading a team to dial for dollars. Every lead is inbound and already using our platform. You are selling to Creative Directors, Chief Marketing Officers and Social Media Strategists who need our assets and licensing compliance to bring their brands to life.  

This may be the most difficult sales manager role you have ever experienced, but for the right reasons! Instead of finding the champion on the buyer’s side, we need to be the champion with them to be able to sell our platform to their internal teams, including legal and finance, to bring their creative work and growth initiatives to life. You and your team are a key part of helping them launch their projects, campaigns and commercials. 

Requirements

You Should Apply If You:

  • Have a passion for being an artist or content creator, or for their work
  • Proven record in building high-performing sales teams
  • Strong experience in coaching to sales mastery including discovery, pipeline management and value selling
  • Are excited to attract, recruit, develop and retain world-class talent
  • Feel a deep sense of ownership, accountability, pride, and passion for your work
  • Have an obsessive curiosity to achieve deep understanding of predictable revenue models
  • Have experience selling to marketing executives, social media strategists and marketing/branding agencies (that’s a big plus)
  • Have a great sense of humor – we do not take ourselves too seriously

This position has a base salary range of $70,000 to $110,000. This salary range is reflective of a position based in New York, New York. Please note that actual salaries are commensurate with experience, and since ARTLIST has a location-based compensation structure, there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
