Position Summary We are seeking a Metrology Engineer – Calibration Leader to join our team and lead the calibration strategy for our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of measurement systems across the plant. The ideal candidate will oversee calibration processes, manage metrology equipment, and support quality assurance initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance with industry standards and drive continuous improvement in measurement reliability.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ISO 17025 and calibration laboratory management
  • Familiarity with GD&T and precision measurement tools
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and uncertainty calculations
  • Strong communication and leadership skills in cross-functional environments

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Metrology, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in calibration or metrology roles
  • Proficiency in calibration software and equipment management
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and measurement standards

Position Overview The Metrology Engineer – Calibration Leader will be responsible for developing and executing the plant’s calibration program, ensuring all measurement equipment is maintained, calibrated, and traceable to national standards. This includes managing internal and external calibration services, maintaining calibration records, and supporting audits and customer requirements. The role also involves training personnel on measurement techniques, analyzing calibration data, and implementing corrective actions when needed. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining product quality and supporting operational excellence through robust metrology practices.
