Full Time

Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.

Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.

Process all check-ins and check-outs according to established hotel requirements.

Adhere to payment, cash handling and credit policies/procedures.

Generate, print, and distribute daily reports to designated departments/personnel.

Resolve discrepancies on the room status report with Housekeeping.

Other duties as assigned.


Responsibilities
Provide superior guest services including check-in/check-out hotel guests courteously and efficiently; process all payments according to established hotel requirements; Provide information and services to any guest or visitor in a friendly, professional manner. 

Qualifications
 

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum one year customer service experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
  • Computer experience preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
  • Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
  • Greet and welcome guests in a courteous and professional manner
  • Check guests in/out efficiently using hotel software
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and assist with reservations
  • Communicate amongst departments to ensure guest request, work orders, and hotel concerns are delivered to the appropriate department
  • Resolve guest issues or complaints promptly and professionally
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
  • Process payments and perform end-of-shift cash reconciliation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills; previous POS system (OnQ, Opera, PEP, FOSSE) proficiency preferred
  • Flexible schedule, including evening, weekends and holidays
