Full Time
Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
Process all check-ins and check-outs according to established hotel requirements.
Adhere to payment, cash handling and credit policies/procedures.
Generate, print, and distribute daily reports to designated departments/personnel.
Resolve discrepancies on the room status report with Housekeeping.
Other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
Provide superior guest services including check-in/check-out hotel guests courteously and efficiently; process all payments according to established hotel requirements; Provide information and services to any guest or visitor in a friendly, professional manner.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum one year customer service experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
- Computer experience preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
- Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
- Greet and welcome guests in a courteous and professional manner
- Check guests in/out efficiently using hotel software
- Answer phone calls, emails, and assist with reservations
- Communicate amongst departments to ensure guest request, work orders, and hotel concerns are delivered to the appropriate department
- Resolve guest issues or complaints promptly and professionally
- Maintain knowledge of hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
- Process payments and perform end-of-shift cash reconciliation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills; previous POS system (OnQ, Opera, PEP, FOSSE) proficiency preferred
