Infrastructure Services and Management Specialist (Onsite)

Job Description

Analyzes, recommend and track Projects at the facility level. Liaises between various EDS, clinical, facility and project teams. Recommends and delivers solutions, plans and training materials throughout implementation.  Engage and collaborate with site leaders to ensure hospital IT operations. Maintains the organization's core applications and IT infrastructure, which may include hardware, software, servers, storage solutions, networks, or physical facilities.

Job Responsibility

• Analyzes, verifies, tracks and coordinates programming application activities; participates with system users in the investigation and evaluation of new proposals and system requirements.
• Codes, tests, and documents moderately to highly complex programs in specialized languages; tests the implementation for conformance to the design.
• Reviews and evaluates user requests/needs and implements necessary/ appropriates changes.
• Assists in preparation of systems specification including revising manuals, design of forms and computer output and documenting user procedures.
• Recommends new strategies and architecture to enhance efficiency of data systems. 
• Designs and develops user and operational documentation.
• Configures, installs, maintains, and provides support for critical software and hardware components, as an SME specific to these technologies.
• Monitors system availability and troubleshoots and resolves connectivity interruptions.
• Measures and improves performance and scalability.
• Helps develop disaster recovery or business continuity plans.
• Handles moderately complex issues.
• Operates under general guidance and work assignments are varied and require interpretation and independent decisions on course of action.

Job Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience, required.

Highly Preferred

• Previous experience in a healthcare facility setting preferred.
• Presentation skills/usage of tools to effectively communicate with leadership and various departments.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to break down complex problems, design strategy, and implement solutions efficiently in a clinical healthcare setting
