St. Jude is seeking a Program Coordinator for the Global Pharmacy team to support international programs that improve access to childhood cancer medicines and strengthen health systems. This role will coordinate projects, track metrics, manage communications with global partners, and contribute to tools and training for pharmacists worldwide.
You'll need a bachelor degree and at least 3+ years of experience in program management, some experience in drug forecasting methodologies, and strong experience in data analysis. Advanced Excel proficiency and significant experience working with project planning tools like Smartsheet or ServiceNow are also vital needs for this role.

Overview

The Department of Global Pediatric Medicine (GPM) is a growing department looking for professionals who are eager to help implement the St. Jude Global (SJG) mission by training the clinical workforce, developing and strengthening health systems and patient-centered initiatives, and advancing knowledge to sustain continuous improvement through research.

Responsibilities

The Program Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Support planning and implementation for one or more programs or projects for the Global Pharmacy team.
  • Coordinate communication among internal or external departments and/or external partners.
  • Develop and track program and project metrics, timelines and deliverables; develop regular reports and presentations to share progress and ensure objectives are met.  
  • Make recommendations for program or process improvements by providing inputs for systemic changes to program or project management processes for better planning, scope management, and risk prevention.
  • Support the design and implementation of program policies, processes and procedures.
  • Engage with program management teams internally and vendors externally for coordination.
  • May mentor less experienced team members.
  • Support the organization and facilitation of capacity-strengthening global workshops and educational training sessions for pharmacists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the creation and refinement of medication forecasting tools tailored for pediatric oncology populations.
  • Support the development and maintenance of web-based platforms for medication-related resources.

Minimum Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.

Minimum Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in program management and delivery.
  • Some experience in drug forecasting methodologies (e.g., supply planning analyses, demand-based methods and clinical burden-based methods).
  • Significant experience in data management and analysis, including advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Significant experience working with project planning tools (e.g., MS Project, Microsoft SharePoint, ServiceNow, Smartsheet, Clarity, Planview, MS Office).

Compensation

In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $70,720 - $126,880 per year for the role of Program Coordinator, Global Pharmacy.
