Patient Services Specialist *Evening*

This posting is for multiple openings for a Patient Services Specialist at Providence Regional Medical Center, Everett, WA.  

Hiring for Evening Shift:   Every other weekend availability required

Ensures that all demographic and insurance information is captured in a timely and accurate manner in our Medical Record system. Prepares and coordinates the distribution of patient information to nursing units and ancillary departments. Adheres to all compliance and regulatory requirements. Collects patient co-payments, pre-payments and payments due.   Required qualifications:

• Clerical and in person professional customer service experience, preference being in a health care setting.

Preferred qualifications: 

• experience in computer data entry.
• experience with medical terminology.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
