Data & Software Engineer I

We are seeking a Software/Data Engineer with a foundational understanding of both traditional and modern data architecture concepts—including ETL, ELT, star/snowflake schemas, lakehouse, and Delta Lake. The ideal candidate will have experience with distributed computing frameworks such as PySpark, as well as data platforms like Snowflake/Databricks. Familiarity with machine learning, particularly time series modeling and statistical algorithms, is a plus. Candidates should be skilled in SQL and Python for data transformation, analysis, and pipeline development. The role requires strong collaboration skills to work effectively across teams and time zones, the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and a willingness to learn quickly under the guidance of senior engineers. A proactive approach to identifying and addressing process gaps is highly valued.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience
• 1 or more years of related experience
• Experience with object-oriented programming in C#, Java, Python or equivalent
• Experience with agile methodologies

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 or more years of software & data engineering experience
• Experience with source code control systems such as Git
• Experience with SQL/noSQL
