The Field Service Representative will focus on insurance premium collection for at least one assigned territory (agency) of the district.  They will keep the collections current, offering exceptional door-to-door customer service skills and providing new sales referrals for follow up.      

Principal Duties And Responsibilities:

• Collection of monthly premiums from policyholders in one or more assigned agency(ies)
• Answering questions or referring customers to proper department to resolve any issues
• Follow-up on customer inquiries or concerns to ensure completion
• Follow up on any outstanding balances to avoid policy lapses
• Use of technology to process premium payments
• Administrative responsibilities in updating and maintaining customer and payment information 

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Customer service experience
• The ability to visit customers in-person at their homes
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license with required 100/300 auto insurance
• Dependable vehicle as daily travel is required
• Ability to meet the requirements of a background check, motor vehicle report check and drug test

• Resourcefulness in answering questions or solving any issues for the customer
• Consistent follow up on any open issues related to customers

The range for this position is $15.82 - $18.00 per hour. When determining candidate offers, we consider experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location among other factors. This job is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and Kemper benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401k, etc.)
