Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant- Snowflake Data Engineer( Snowflake+Python+Cloud)!  

In this role, the Snowflake Data Engineer is responsible for providing technical direction and lead a group of one or more developer to address a goal.  

Job Description:

• Experience in IT industry 
• Working experience with building productionized data ingestion and processing data pipelines in Snowflake 
• Strong understanding on Snowflake Architecture 
• Fully well-versed with data warehousing concepts. 
• Expertise and excellent understanding of Snowflake features and integration of Snowflake with other data processing. 
• Able to create the data pipeline for ETL/ELT 
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to problem solve and architect in an environment with unclear requirements. 
• Able to create the high level and low-level design document based on requirement. 
• Hands on experience in configuration, troubleshooting, testing and managing data platforms, on premises or in the cloud. 
• Awareness on data visualisation tools and methodologies 
• Work independently on business problems and generate meaningful insights 
• Good to have some experience/knowledge on Snowpark or Streamlit or GenAI but not mandatory. 
• Should have experience on implementing Snowflake Best Practices 
• Snowflake SnowPro Core Certification will be added an advantage 

Roles And Responsibilities:

• Gather requirements, create detailed design documents, provide solutions to customers, and collaborate effectively with offshore teams. 
• Write SQL queries against Snowflake and develop scripts to perform Extract, Load, and Transform (ELT/ETL) operations. 
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities such as SnowSQL, Bulk Copy, Snowpipe, Tasks, Streams, Time Travel, Cloning, Optimizer, Metadata Manager, Data Sharing, Stored Procedures, UDFs, Snowsight, and Streamlit. 
• Experience working with Snowflake cloud data warehouse integrated with AWS S3 buckets or Azure Blob Storage containers to consolidate data from multiple source systems. 
• Familiarity with AWS services (S3, Glue, Lambda) or Azure services (Blob Storage, ADLS Gen2, ADF) for cloud data processing and orchestration. 
• Strong experience integrating Python/PySpark with Snowflake and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), leveraging cloud-native services for efficient data processing and storage. 
• Proficient in Python programming, with solid understanding of core concepts including data types, variables, functions, loops, and conditionals. 
• Deep knowledge of ETL processes and tools, capable of designing and developing optimized ETL pipelines using Python or PySpark. 
• Experience with Snowflake Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and implementing robust data security measures. 
• Skilled in implementing Change Data Capture (CDC) and Slowly Changing Dimension (SCD) Type 2 methodologies. 
• Well-versed in Snowflake best practices for architecture, development, and optimization. 
• Comprehensive understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL frameworks, and data modeling principles. 
• Proven track record in requirement gathering, analysis, design, development, and deployment of data solutions. 
• Experience building scalable data ingestion pipelines and optimizing them for performance and reliability. 
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage clients and lead technical teams effectively. 
• Proficient with Airflow or other workflow orchestration tools for scheduling and managing ETL jobs. 
• Familiarity with CI/CD deployment pipelines and version control systems such as Azure Repos and GitHub is a plus.

• B.E./ Masters in Computer Science, Information technology, or Computer engineering or any equivalent degree with good IT experience and relevant as Snowflake Data Engineer.
