In this role, you will provide leadership and implementation of our initial and ongoing sales strategy in the South East Asian (SEA) region.

Reporting to the APAC General Manager in Sydney, the VP, EMEA Sales will be responsible for sales relationships and performance in the region, and responsible for identifying, developing and growing revenue from product and services via indirect and direct sales channels. The successful candidate will have a track record of SaaS sales and sales leadership experience in South East Asia. 

Job Responsibilities Will Include:

●      Identify and grow a team throughout the region of sales development reps, field sales, solutions consultants and matrixed customer success managers

●      Manage and coordinate the efforts of the sales team to achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly bookings

●      Assist in creating a new SEA region strategy & go-to-market plan in alignment with GM APAC’s plan including execution of:

●      Marketing events and campaigns

●     Ecosystem Growth

●      Sales Execution Development and Upskilling

●      Adherence to Sales Process best practices

●      Identifying business opportunities in existing and new customers

●      Monitor, analyze, and manage sales activity against goals

●      Develop a consistent and growing revenue stream for products and services

●      Work with global team members to develop business in the region in all channels

●      Establish and Grow and Eco-system of VAR's, Distributors, System Integrators and Platform companies

●      Work with the Panel Organisation at UserTesting to grow the panel eco-system across SEA

●      Establish an SEA differentiated technical and business value proposition across our products and solutions

●      Establish and implement development goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures for the SEA sales and solutions team, as needed

●      Be the external face of UserTesting in the region and partner with marketing for external PR opportunities

Job Requirements

●      Field of study: Computer Science, Business, Marketing or related; MBA a plus

●      Language: English required, German, French or Dutch a plus

●      Experience required: 10 plus years of sales, 5+ years in sales management, and 10+ years of SEA market experience

●      Strong skills in developing new buying centres and locations

●      Experience of selling to any of the following: large ISPs, media companies,, Fortune 100 Enterprises, or other related industries

●      SEA indirect channels and partner experience 

●      Demonstrated knowledge of the processes for managing large accounts, including demand generation, forecasting, quota attainment, sales presentations, short-term, mid-term, and long-term opportunity management

●      A self-starter with the ability to build executive relationships

●      Strong technical and business knowledge with complimentary skills to understand the customer's business and technical drivers 

●      Solution selling, business case development skills, and a proven ability to navigate complex customer environments

●      Software selling experience 

●      Strong negotiation skills

●      Strong interpersonal / relationships skills

●      Travel up to 60% time

●      Existing relationships with decision makers within Customer Experience is desired 

●      Experience leading Software-as-a-Service sales resources is required

●      Role that is 75% sales executive, revenue generating and 25% Leadership and Management  of SEA[1]
