- Position: Sr. Manager, Commercial Training and Learning & Development Lead, MTV Cluster
- Responsible Country: Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam
- Work Location: New Phetchaburi Road, Vantive Head Office.
- Reporting Manager: MTV Cluster General Manager, based in Thailand.
- Normal Working Hours: Mon-Fri 8:00-17:00
- Flexibility: Intentionally Hybrid Working (WFH 2-3 days a week)
Travel: Required to travel domestically and internationally. (This role will be based in Thailand with 30% travel expected.)
Job Scope: To lead commercial training, ensure strategy to execution governance and support the overall development of the commercial teams in Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam (MTV). This will include hands-on commercial training projects and train-the-trainer initiatives to build a culture of learning and development within the organization. The portfolio will include a blend of pharmaceuticals, device and digital services and will require an agile leader who is able to inspire and develop teams. This role will report to the MTV Cluster General Manager with a dot line reporting to the APAC Commercial Excellence Lead.
Job Descriptions:
Commercial Training
- Design, develop and deploy comprehensive commercial training curriculums to enhance selling skills, coaching capabilities and build high performing teams
- Design and implement a sales coaching framework to support sales team development and performance improvement
- Develop Train-the-Trainer programs to localize training plans across the MTV cluster to instill a culture of learning and development.
- Identify and address sales skills gaps through targeted training initiatives
Strategy-To-Execution
- Coordinate closely with business partners and SFE to operationalize and track overall coaching concepts to the field teams
- Embed a culture of execution excellence across the organization, focusing on the 4 Disciplines of Execution (4DX)
- Develop and implement strategies to drive discipline, focus, and accountability across the sales organization
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure alignment with business objectives and strategic priorities
- Sales Talent Review Governance
- Work closely with Country HR to effectively manage and develop L&D activities and key projects across the business
- Drive a comprehensive sales talent review process (V-STAR) to identify development areas and to retain top sales performers
Regional Collaboration
- Collaborate with the regional Commercial Excellence/Training Team and Human Resource/Talent Management to drive standardization across the region
- Participate in regional based projects when required to improve the design and delivery of the training programs
- Support in building a strong learning culture throughout the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or above in any discipline.
- At least 8 years in the healthcare industry with prior experience as a commercial trainer, preferably with pharmaceutical and device/digital selling.
- Experience in sales manager or marketing a plus.
- Prior regional project exposure or multi-country training a plus.
- Certification as a trainer and Coach Certification in acclaimed training programs will be an added advantage.
- This role will be based in Thailand with 30% travel expected.
