This is a grant funded contractual position.
Key Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for managing administrative operations, ensuring smooth coordination across departments, overseeing maintenance, and supporting staff in achieving organizational goals. The role involves confidential handling of information, event coordination, and staff management.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Reporting to management and executing given instructions
- Liaising with management and staff regarding administrative matters
- Overseeing the maintenance and repair work in the department
- Scheduling and managing meetings, conferences, workshops, and special events
- Maintaining confidentiality with sensitive information and correspondence
- Hiring and training new office administrators
- Assisting in all administrative tasks
- Contributing to planning, development and implementation of staff/faculty training and capacity building under the direction of the supervisors/sponsor
- Facilitating internal and external audits
Requirements:
You Should Have:
- An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or equivalent from an HEC recognised or reputable university/institution
- At least three years of relevant work experience.
- Must be in good standing with their professional association
- Ability to plan, schedule, and execute office-related events
- In-depth knowledge of administrative recordkeeping practices
- Experience in handling confidential and sensitive information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
