The Department of Radiology offers a comprehensive range of highly sophisticated imaging tests and procedures that are conducted in a welcoming environment that focuses on quality and patient comfort. The diagnostic services are supported by advanced, state-of-the-art technologies like 3T MRI, 640 slice CT, Mammography, Bone density, Nuclear Imaging, Interventional services, general x-rays, etc. The department is dedicated to patient services and imaging excellence through highest professional and technological standards. The department maintains state-of-the-art technology imaging services to provide our physicians and patients with the most accurate, timely and informative results.

Responsibilities:

You Will Be Responsible To:

• Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures correctly against parameters for the procedures.
• Observe radiation safety procedures for staff patients
• Ensure proper documentation and record of section activities.
• Participated in quality improvement activities of the department.
• Ensure quality and patient safety in all activities of the section,
• Ensure protection of section equipment, supplies and immediately report any incident.
• Prepare injection material and assist the nuclear physician in performing procedures.
• Process films of the Nuclear Medicine procedures
• Schedule patients for procedures.
• Stay in the department after working hours when required.
• Strictly adhere to the guidelines for Nuclear waste disposal and take corrective steps in case of any contamination.
• Change the radiation monitoring device on intervals as per direction of the Radiation protection committee.
• In cooperation with Medical Physicist assist Senior Technologist in performing equipment testing, auditing and safe procedures.

Requirements:

You Should Have:

• Graduate, preferably Science
• Certificate obtaining lor handling isotopes, preferable
• Minimum of 3 years in a multidisciplinary nuclear medicine facility preferred.
