As a Business Analyst – Digital Banking you will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative digital banking products and services through Agile methodologies. You will bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution, transforming requirements into actionable user stories, and collaborating closely with Product Owners, UI/UX designers, and development teams. This role is ideal for someone passionate about enhancing customer journeys, optimizing digital workflows, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
What You’Ll Do
- Collaborate with Product Owners, UI/UX, and development teams to gather, refine, and transform business requirements into clear deliverables.
- Write user stories and acceptance criteria aligned with business objectives.
- Act as a proxy for business stakeholders during sprints, providing clarity and immediate feedback.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Support backlog grooming/refinement sessions and prioritize work based on business value and feasibility.
- Document and maintain artifacts including product backlogs, epics, and user stories in tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and journey mapping sessions with users and subject matter experts.
- Analyze current processes to identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
- Partner with QA teams to define test cases and validate features against business expectations.
- Stay informed about fintech trends, industry innovations, and evolving customer needs.
What You’Ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- Agile certification (e.g., CSPO, ICAgile, SAFe, PMI-ACP) is a plus.
- 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in digital banking or fintech.
- Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Agile techniques such as user stories, acceptance criteria, and journey mapping.
- Familiarity with backlog management tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
- Awareness or knowledge of IT security best practices as defined by ISO/SOC or similar.
