What you will be doing?
- District-wide coordinator for relocation and adjustment of utilities on all ODOT projects.
- Coordinates directly with utility companies on their relocation plans and approves their plans in accordance with ODOT project scopes.
- Creates Utility Relocation Plan Notes for Right of Way Certification Letters.
- Reviews all stage reviews of construction plans and provides feedback to Project Managers regarding existing and/or proposed utility facilities.
- Reviews and approves submittal of Utility Permit Applications.

Qualifications
30 mos. trg. or 30 mos. exp. in reading construction & right of way plans; 18 mos. trg. or 18 mos. exp. in public relations; 12 mos. trg. or 12 mos. exp. in state & federal laws, policies & procedures pertaining to utilities relocation; must be able to provide own transportation.
-Or 12 mos. exp. as Utilities Relocation Technician 2, 84582; must be able to provide own transportation.
-Or equivalent of Minimum Qualifications For Employment noted above.

This position is overtime eligible based on FLSA Standards.
All bargaining unit new hires must serve a one (1) year probationary period.
Position will be filled pursuant to the provision of the OCSEA/AFSCME Contract.
The final candidate selected for this position will be required to undergo a criminal background check. An individual assessment of an applicant's prior criminal convictions will be made before excluding an applicant from consideration.
All final applicants tentatively selected for this position will be required to submit to urinalysis to test for illegal drug use prior to appointments. An applicant with a positive test shall not be offered employment.
