Job Title: Senior Operations Delivery Manager

Location: Onsite 5 days a week - Malta, NY 12020, USA

Travel:  25% 

Key Responsibilities:

The Single Point of Contact (SPoC) will be responsible for:

  • Interacting with senior our client’s employees responsible for running the facility.
  • Participating in daily stand-ups with our client’s employees that span manufacturing, sales, applications and IT personnel.  Provide input on Capgemini services and status related to scope listed below.
  • Provide direct management supervision for 8-12 Capgemini employees working at the client site.  Approximately half the employees will be technical SMEs (server, storage, network, DBA) and the other half will be field services (mobile devices, laptops, iPads, hand/feet for infrastructure.)
  • Coordinate changes to the client’s IT infrastructure and application portfolio through the broader Capgemini team assigned to the account.
  • Manage any on-site escalations
  • Participate and provide guidance for our client hiring into the area.
  • Provide mentorship to new employees
  • Report status to the Capgemini Service Delivery Manager
  • Communicate on a regular basis with SPoC’s from other locations
  • Define and implement a continuous improvement strategy for your area

General Delivery:

· Works closely with the operations lead to track service status, issues and issue resolution

Monitors SLA achievement and Continuous Service Improvement performance to identify negative trends and agree with the operations lead to get-well plans implementation.

  • Understands, anticipates, and influences customer demand for services and ensures that delivery entities are capable to fulfill the demand.
  • Works with OL and 3rd party vendors to ensure all relevant process documentation reflects ITIL best practices and client requirements, ensuring it is reviewed and updated within agreed timescales. Assess quality of work produced by the teams providing services (reports, project deliverables, etc.) to ensure consistency and accuracy of information.
  • Provides feedback and coaching to avoid reoccurring errors

Required Skills:

 What you will bring (Required Skills and Experience):

  • 10-15+ years of experience within delivery management with a proven track record in cost performance, delivery, and client management
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, customer driven environment and handle multiple priorities
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong and proven knowledge of contract management
  • Experience in mentoring and coaching of operations teams desirable
  • Knowledge of latest technology trends, tools, and solutions
  • Understanding of Cloud Infrastructure Services portfolio, sector offers and market challenges

Work Restrictions

  • Must be a citizen of the United States.
  • Must be on-site at the client site 5 days a week.  Preferably within a 30 minute commute.
  • Available to support Sev-1 and Sev-2 issues off hours
